The PAL Plus is simply a combination of our Y7 mic pre-amplifier and L1 compressor/limiter. It offers the sonic benefits of minimized circuitry with the convenience and price advantage of a single package. By eliminating redundant components, this combination unit is simply "pure as it gets," making the PAL Plus ideal for the most critical of tracking situations. The Line Input bypasses the mic-pre circuit, allowing the PAL Plus to operate exactly as the L1 Limiter for mixing and mastering applications.
As with all Requisite products, the PAL Plus is crafted using point-to-point wiring techniques which continue to demonstrate sonic superiority over tube circuits built on circuit boards.
